Brand Castle sold its popular Aspen Mulling Spice brand to Otis Foods in a move that focus’ the Company more on its core competency, the interactive baking kit market. Brand Castle carries an extensive line of family-friendly baking kits that feature gourmet ingredients and are infused with a sense of humor.

Brand Castle held Aspen for four years during which time the market for the product expanded thanks to line extensions into gourmet lemonade and hot cocoa.

“We are proud of the consumer traction we found with Aspen, and we felt it best to let market forces drive our decision to sell and double down on our highly commercial baking kits, with new products being introduced annually,” says Jimmy Zeilinger, owner and CEO of Brand Castle, LLC.
